Succulent Garden DIY featured on Style Me PrettyRead More
Fall is my favorite time of year to sit around a bonfire & now that it's officially the season, we're enhancing ours with these amazing smelling fire starters made from dried herbs. If you are like us & planted an herb garden this year and have more mint and basil than you know what to do with, this is a perfect solution to use the excess herbs.
Select a bundle of strongly-scented herbs, such as lemon thyme and rosemary, then wrap it in natural twine that will burn cleanly. The dried sprigs and stems of these simple starters make it easy to get the fire going by helping the kindling catch quickly & it will add a wonderful aromaof herbal frangrance to the smoke. We have used lavender, lemon thyme, mint, rosemary, sage to create our fire starters. Try cinnamon, clove & nutmeg for a true fall fragrance. You can even add sprigs of your favorite dried flower for an added pop of color like Terrain did below.
