Project reveal: Manchester-By-THe-sea

Our clients own the most stunning old home in Manchester By The Sea, MA with an incredible front yard with a small pond- perfectly secluded but still a 5 minute drive to the beach. It really doesn't get any better than that.

They have lived in the house for several years now and have decided to start tackling rooms in their house to give some updates to and first on the docket is their primary bathroom.

We wanted to stay true to the original charm and character of this old home by keeping the gorgeous exposed beams, but kick it up a notch design wise and create an updated bathroom that was tranquil and spa worthy.

We achieved this with the juxtaposition of old and new, sleek and clean cabinetry vs the rough hewn beams. We custom designed an 11 foot floating vanity made out of walnut to achieve that resort- feel we were looking for as well as provide our clients with ample storage.

Additionally, we created this stunning arched niche next to the large soaker tub for some additional storage as well as a gorgeous styled moment in their wet space. We tucked the tracks for the shower glass behind the beam to create a clean, streamlined look.  We are so excited to continue with our client and move into the kitchen this fall!

If you’re moving a home reno to the top of your to-do list this year, we would love to hear about it! Check out our booking page to see our offerings!
